What kind of business is this ?

A gifts & decor online store that delivers physical products manufactured partially on-demand, meaning that they are printed only after the customer purchases it.

What is Designora Studio?

The in-house creative virtual production engine of Self In Art, as well as of other projects. You can learn more here: www.designorastudio.com.

Who is the human behind it?

Sorina Constantin: a multidisciplinary designer with a masters degree in Interior Architecture.

How is Self In Art sustainable?
By changing the entire workflow of selling commodities.
Instead of: design → buy stock → inventory stock → take pictures → hope that it will sell → ship → deliver
We do: design → product renders → sell → print & pack → ship → deliver

 

This way, we can create freely without overconsumption and unnecessary risky costs.
Is there a stock limit?

Sometimes it takes a while for our suppliers to restock materials, but apart from that, we can sell as many products as we like.

Are you giving discounts?

No, because we are not working with limited stock, so we are not bound to selling certain amounts of products in a certain amount of time. Instead, we are offering ⭐(stars) for every bought item, so that you can acquire products from a hidden collection. When you reach a certain amount of stars that can buy an item, you will receive an email with the link of the collection and the instructions that need to be followed.

 Are the Self In Art products handmade?

The art and designs are made by hand in professional software for digital art, so none of it is AI generated. The manufacturing is industrial though.

How are the Self In Art decorations made?

We create the fine art or the illustration first. Then, we build 3D environments that can either support the art piece or it will recreate the realm that is in it. Then, we create products that we see fit for that environment and we render them.

Where are the Self In Art physical products made?

We collaborate with various suppliers from all over the world, but if you want to see the country in which every product is made, you can read on the product page under the “Delivery” tab.

Where can I find pricing and delivery time?

The pricing can be found under the title on the product page and the delivery time can be found under the “Delivery” tab.

Do you issue gift cards?

Not yet, but we will in the near future.

Does my order come gift-wrapped?

No, because we don’t pack the products in house. Instead, we sell good and matching wrapping paper.

How can I order a gift but ensure the price doesn’t show on the gift receipt?

You will have to order the product at your place, pack it as you like it and send to your loved one without the price tag.

Can I order personalized products?

Not yet, but we might in the near future.

Are the prices shown inclusive of VAT?

Yes.

Can I get back the VAT I paid?

Only if you live outside the EU can you reclaim the VAT paid. Please send us the customs receipt (a stamp is required!) from the destination country, stating that the VAT was paid in that country. We can then refund the Romanian VAT to you, which is 21%.

How can I create an account?

Click on “My Account” that can be found in the main menu, insert your email address and set up password.

What are the advantages of creating an account?
Creating an account enables you to track the delivery of your Self In Art purchases and helps you to consult your order history. You can also update your contact information in your account.
For your security, selfinart.com does not save your credit card information and will not share your personal data with any third parties.
How can I find my account password?

You can click on “Lost Your Password?” in “My Account” to enter your email address. We will send you an email to reset your password. Please check your spam folder if you didn’t receive the email.

I cannot log in to my customer account.

Please use the Lost Your Password? option and create a new password for your customer account. Contact us if you have any further problems.

Can I make changes or cancel my account on selfinart.com?
Yes. Contact us if you want your account to be deleted. For identity verification purposes, please include:
  • Full name;
  • The email address you used for logging in;
  • The shipping address you introduced.
How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to the Self In Art Newsletter?

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express (Amex), Discover, Diners Club International, JCB (Japan Credit Bureau), Carte Bleue (CB), Maestro, Bancontact, EPS, iDEAL, Multibanco, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal.

In which currencies can I pay?

Euro (€ EUR), United States (US) dollar ($ USD), Australian dollar ($ AUD), Canadian dollar ($ CAD), Czech koruna (Kč CZK), Danish krone (kr. DKK), Hungarian forint (Ft HUF), Japanese yen (¥ JPY), Romanian leu (lei RON), Moldovan leu (MDL), Norwegian krone (kr NOK), Polish złoty (zł PLN), Pound sterling (£ GBP), Swedish krona (kr SEK), Swiss franc (CHF).

How can I pay in a different currency than the one that is is shown?
  1. You have to make an account first.
  2. Type in your account details and make sure you write your full name.
  3. On the bottom of the form, you will find a setting where you will be able to choose your preferred currency for shopping and payments. If you don’t write your full name, your currency settings will not be saved.
Is ordering online secure?
We take the utmost care with the information that you provide us when placing an order on our website. The server that hosts our store encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. During the encryption process, information is scrambled into small bits of code that cannot be read as they travel to us over the Internet. All of the information you provide during the ordering process is restricted to our system. If you have further questions about the security of ordering online, please feel free to contact us.
 Your payment and all related information is safe on selfinart.com. We use a security-standard encryption system to maintain security and confidentiality.
How can I place an Order?

Add to cart all your desired products, click on the little shopping cart icon on the main menu on the right and then click on the “Proceed To Checkout” button. You will be take to another page where you will have to submit your payment information and follow the following steps. You will receive an email with the order you have placed.

 

Note: When you receive the package, we strongly advise you to make a video of the unpacking process, so that any disputes can be solved in your advantage. You don’t have to show your face, but the label should be seen.

Can I use more than one card for an order?

No, only one card can be used at a time. You can place multiple orders with different payment methods though.

My payment was declined. What can I do?
Please check the following first:
    – Were the account details provided correct?
    – Is the credit or debit card possibly expired?
    – Is the specified account sufficiently funded?
 
Please also contact your bank if necessary to clarify the situation. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us and have all order and payment information ready.
Help, I haven’t received an order confirmation!

You should normally receive our order confirmation in your inbox within a few minutes. Didn’t receive it? It’s possible the order confirmation ended up in your spam folder. If so, please add our email address to your safe senders list. This way, you’ll always receive our emails in your regular inbox. If you can’t find the order confirmation in your spam folder either, please to contact us.

Can I get a duplicate of my invoice?

We can provide you with a duplicate invoice for purchases made on our website less than one year ago.

Can I reserve an item and pay later?

There is no point because we don’t have stock limits, so you can purchase products at any time.

Can I cancel my order?

It’s not possible to change or cancel your order after placing it. Our system is fully automated, ensuring your order is processed and delivered as quickly as possible.
